The Brisbane Writers Festival is Australia’s oldest continuous writers’ festival. It has a long and storied history of connecting communities, showcasing creativity and finding just the right words.

Each year, thousands of readers and writers are welcomed to Brisbane to celebrate books, spark ideas and start conversations. This year boasts a diverse program of author panels, speeches, performances and more – including the schools and YA programs for younger readers – Brisbane Writers Festival has a story for everyone.
