Australianama by Samia Khatun wins the Scholary Non-Fiction Book of the Year Award

UQP is thrilled to share the news that Australianama by Samia Khatun has won the 2020 Scholarly Non-Fiction Book of the Year Award at the Educational Publishing Awards.

The judges said Australianama was 'an intriguing story that has required in its telling both careful, sustained research and familiarity with diverse and complex cultural traditions and areas of philosophy. [It is] unquestionably original, powerful and important.'

Another UQP title, Call of the Reed Warbler by Charles Massy, won the inaugural award in 2019.
