Join Shivaun Plozza in conversation with Rhiannon Williams to celebrate the launch of Meet Me at the Moon Tree, a tender Australian story about searching for the impossible in the places where magic and science meet.

Educators, creatives, adults and children welcome.

Shivaun Plozza is the award-winning author of Frankie, Tin Heart, The Boy, the Wolf, and the Stars and A Reluctant Witch’s Guide to Magic. Her writing has been shortlisted for the CBCA Book of the Year, YALSA’s Top Ten Best Young Adult Books of the Year, and the Gold Inky. She won the Davitt Award for Best Young Adult Crime Novel in 2017. She lives in Geelong with her cat, Fenchurch. Meet Me at the Moon Tree is her latest book.

Originally from Taradale, Victoria, Rhiannon Williams writes magical books for kids. Her Ampersand Prize-winning debut novel, Ottilie Colter and the Narroway Hunt, was named a CBCA Notable Book, an Aurealis Awards finalist, and shortlisted for the Readings Children’s Book Prize and the Speech Pathology Australia book awards. Her latest novel, Dusty in the Outwilds, was recently made a CBCA 2023 Notable Book.

Ticketing
The $10 Single Ticket is for a single attendance and does not include a copy of the book. The $17 Book + Family Ticket however, is for an individual or a family of up to 5 and includes a copy of the book. Please when purchasing a family ticket, advise in the notes section at the end of checkout how many attendees the ticket is for. This is simply so that we have the right amount of seating for the event.
