'Kid' by Peter Carnavas Canberra Launch

Join us at The Book Cow when we welcome Peter Carnavas in store to celebrate the launch of his latest children's book, Kid! Peter has written and illustrated this modern-day classic about a young goat who discovers the meaning of family.

Embellished with Peter's delightful hand-drawn illustrations, this junior adventure novel is reminiscent of other children's classics that feature mostly animal casts, such as Charlotte's Web by EB White and The Sheep-Pig by Dick King-Smith.

Peter Carnavas writes and illustrates books for children. He has created many picture books and novels, such as The Elephant, My Brother Ben and Leo and Ralph. His work has been published widely across the world and won many awards, including the 2025 Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Children's Literature.
