UQP shortlisted for the 2023 ABIAs Small Publisher of the Year
We're thrilled to share that UQP has been shortlisted for the 2023 Australian Book Industry Awards: Small Publisher of the Year!
The ABIAs celebrate the professionals in the book business – the dedicated individuals and teams who bring stories to life, and books to the right readers.
On Small Publisher of the Year, the judges said:
‘Every small publisher offers something unique to the cultural landscape of Australia. The judging panel was impressed by the commitment to diversity and representation and the willingness to publish in an exciting range of formats and genres.’
Congratulations to all shortlisted publishers on being recognised for their outstanding contributions to the industry. Other publishers shortlisted for Small Publisher of the Year include, Black Inc, Magabala Books, Scribe and Pantera Press. Winners will be announced 25 May.
