UQP authors at Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival
The Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival is the flagship annual literature event of Arts Margaret River. It is the biggest regional literary event in Western Australia and aims to foster a love of literature and the arts within the community.

Join presenter Will Yeoman, author and activist Bob Brown, authors Jonica Newby and Adam Thompson and poet Caitlin Maling as they explore the current climate crisis, share political and cultural views and look at our hopes for the future and a positive call to action to save the planet.

Join our expert panel for an honest and no holes barred discussion on the rise of poetry, why they write verse and what they feel the future holds for this exciting genre. Presented by Maddie Godfrey with poets Evelyn Araluen, Caitlin Maling and Emily Sun.
