Totally Lit: The Crime Scene

Totally Lit deviates from the traditional writers’ festival paradigm. Not driven by new releases or best-selling authors and not constrained by auditoriums, Totally Lit imagines new and original ways to connect live literature and storytelling to place, culture, history, and community.

Western Australia is home to a burgeoning cohort of crime writers.

In this session, moderated by local author Brooke Dunnell, we survey the local crime writing scene and put the spotlight on three Western Australian writers, each with their own distinctive voice:
