Local Children's Author Showcase

Celebrate the literary talent in our community with an impressive showcase of local children's authors including Seetha Dodd, where she will be discussing her debut novel Myra in the Middle, a funny and endearing story about finding your place in your family – and on the soccer field. It is aimed at readers 5 - 8 years old

Seetha Dodd draws on her Malaysian-Indian heritage, and themes of family, identity and belonging, writing stories that empower children to challenge stereotypes and to celebrate uniqueness in all forms.

This event is a chance to discover local stories, meet the minds behind the books, and be inspired by their writing journeys.

Books will be available for purchase and signing on the day.
