GenreCon 2026: Inkling

GenreCon is the leading conference for genre fiction writers.

An initiative of Queensland Writers Centre, GenreCon is Australia’s leading conference dedicated to genre writers, annually featuring an impressive line-up of leading names in Australian and international genre fiction across a weekend of panels, seminars, and special events.

GenreCon 2026: Inkling is headlined by professional manga artist Professor belne from Kaishi Professional University, with a special focus on adaptation, illustration, and translation.

UQP Author Madeleine Dale will be part of the 'Dreams in Ink' Reading Salon on Day One of the program, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
