Join us for a wintery Smallroom on June 5 featuring special guest debut novelist Emily Lighezzolo author of Life Drawing.

Emily will read from Life Drawing and be In Conversation with Associate Professor Sally Breen talking life and literature.

Copies of Life Drawing will be available for sale on the night. Have your copy signed by the author.

Smallroom invites readers to the open mic – 5 mins max – share your poetry, stories, raps, rants – anything goes at Smallroom. We are open to the public and welcome and encourage new readers

Event Logistics

$5 entry supports the group and gets you dinner – hot cheesy pizza, homemade salads plus and a range of tasty snacks. A cash bar operates. Smallroom also features door prizes and a free book fair with books donated by university professors. You’ll go home with literature in your heart and in your hand.

Parking is available on Theatres Lane off Parklands Drive via Alumni Place and the Gold Coast tram will bring you to the door.
