Chris Flynn in conversation with Clare Wright

Mammoth is an outrageously clever literary fiction/creative non-fiction hybrid romp through history that is endlessly entertaining, engaging, and endearing. Narrated by a 13,000-year-old extinct American mastodon, Mammoth is the (mostly) true story of how the skull of a Tyrannosaurus bataar, the fossilized bones of a dire wolf, a pterodactyl, a prehistoric penguin, the severed hand of an Egyptian mummy and the narrator himself came to be on sale at a natural history auction in New York in 2007.

Mammoth author Chris Flynn will be joined in conversation by Clare Wright OAM, an award-winning historian, author, broadcaster and public commentator who has worked in politics, academia and the media.
