Chris Flynn at Perth Festival's Literature Weekend

Chris Flynn’s new novel Mammoth is narrated by the fossilised remains of a 13,000-year-old American mammoth, while Rebecca Giggs’ non-fiction offering Fathoms: The World in the Whale tells the long history of whales. In their own ways both books speak to the importance of species whose destinies have been critical to how humans think about themselves and their ecological place. Join Chris and Rebecca in conversation with David Allan-Petale.

This event is live-streamed but requires registration. Recommended ticket price is $19, however Perth Festival is offering a Pay What You Can system where you can choose to pay any amount you’d like – from $0. Any amount you pay above $19 will be used to ensure that other people are able to attend Festival events where cost is normally a barrier.
