Birthday Book Adventure: a Children's Book Week celebration. 80 years of CBCA

The CBCA is celebrating 80 years of sharing the magic of Australian stories with children this year – and you’re invited to the party!

Join us at the CBCA Birthday Book Adventure for a day of free activities including crafting, creator workshops, a book parade, and the chance to chat with some of Victoria’s most beloved authors and illustrators.

Where? Fed Square Atrium, Melbourne

We’re thrilled to be joined by a stellar line-up of local children’s book creators. This year’s CBCA Children’s Book Week artist Jess McGeachin will be on hand to help you Book an Adventure. Join Anna Walker for a froggy-themed craft workshop inspired by her book Snap! Come for storytime with Angie Cui, author of My Mum is a Bird and also Olivia Muscat – author of My Name is Jemima.
