Edenglassie shortlisted for the 2024 Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Award

Congratulations to Melissa Lucashenko for her Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Awards shortlisting for Edenglassie.

The Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Award is presented annually by Waverley Council with support from principal sponsors, Mark and Evette Moran, and community partner Gertrude & Alice Bookstore and Cafe.

With a major prize of $40,000, the Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Award is Waverley Council’s annual celebration of the best in Australian research-based literature. Nominations are invited from April each year and are judged on literary merit, quality research, readability and value to the community.

You can also cast your vote in support of your favourite 2024 shortlisted author and you could win a fabulous Nib Award prize pack containing:

- A set of all six shortlisted books
- A $200 gift voucher from Gertrude & Alice Bookstore (can be used online or instore).

The 2024 Mark & Evette Moran Nib Literary Award finalist with the most votes will win the Nib People's Choice Prize ($4,000).
