Biography

Adam Shoemaker is the Canadian-Australian author of Black Words, White Page (UQP 1989) and Mudrooroo (1993). He has previously taught in Australian Studies at the Queensland University of Technology, and is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the Australian National University. He is the co-editor of the first national anthology of Black Australian writings, Paperbark (UQP 1990), and is the editor of Oodgeroo: A Tribute (UQP 1993).
