UQP - Whats New

Congratulations to the many recently short- and long-listed UQP authors. They include:

Jennifer Mills, author of The Rest is Weight, and Josephine Rowe, author of Tarcutta Wake, who have both been short-listed for the 2013 Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award.

Dylan Coleman, whose award-winning ‘heart-rending, provocative and funny’ book Mazin Grace has been short-listed for the 2013 Commonwealth Book Prize.

Steven Herrick, author of the verse novel Pookie Aleera is Not My Boyfriend which has been short-listed for both the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards and the CBCA Book of the Year Younger Reader category.

Patti Miller, whose memoir, The Mind of a Thief, has been long-listed for the 2013 Nita B Kibble Literary Awards for Women Writers.

James Roy, author of the young adult novel City, which has been selected for the 2013 International Youth Library White Ravens.

Elizabeth Fensham, author of The Invisible Hero, which has been shortlisted for Children’s Choice – REAL Awards – COOL, KOALA, KROC and YABBA Awards.
