Scott Waldron is the Research Officer employed on ACIAR projects undertaken by the China Agricultural Economics Group at the University of Queensland. He lived in China for nearly five years, conducting research in 20 provinces. For two years in Beijing, Scott worked as a Correspondent for the Economist Intelligence Unit and as a Project Manager for a major agricultural consulting company. Schott speaks Mandarin fluently, and reads Chinese documents. He is the co-author, with John Longworth and Colin Brown, of Beef in China (UQP 2001).
